Supreme Protector High Performance Thread
"Thanks for a great
product. Supreme Protector thread is durable and great to work with. It's
definitely a value added feature to all our boat tops and covers. I would
recommend it to other marine fabricators."

General Characteristics:
Color white
Non-absorbent
100% wet strength after 6 months immersion in sea water
High break strength
High abrasion resistance
High UV resistance (30% strength loss after two years exposure, approx.)
High resistance to solvents, bleach and hydrocarbons
Recommended Applications:
Supreme Protector Thread is recommended for use where
exposure to moisture, abrasion, environmental contaminants or cut-hazard would
be likely to cause failure in traditional threads of equal size. It is also
recommended for use as a replacement for more costly PTFE thread; for use as a
lighter weight substitute for plied or extremely heavy threads (e.g. 5 and 6
cord) requiring specialized sewing equipment (class 7 machines); or for
applications where low stretch and high breaking strength is a priority.
